There's so many small gestures we do that can have positive effects on others. So many things like manners, which many seem not to use anymore. A simple thank you, or a seemingly normal gesture like holding the bus door open for the next person getting out. These are just a few of the small things that make me feel happy inside.
It's almost the end of week 6 already, time is flying along at incredible speeds. I've settled into this semester of Uni now, and I think, think think think, I've made a friend! Her name is Jennifer, though she goes by Jenny (ffffff), and she's really into anime and comic books and stuff. She's in my Introduction to Film and Television class, which I'm really enjoying. We have to work in groups of three, and while I usually dread group work, my group is really nice and we all get along. A lot of the people in my Japanese class are really awesome too, so maybe I'll make some new friends there as well.
I also have to admit I'm starting to enjoy driving. It's still scary, and I'm still really reliant on the person in the passenger seat, but I feel like I'm getting there. At least, I'm keeping on the left side of the road now, and away from the gutter.
How are you all going? C:

I'm glad you're settling into university, and that you've made a friend. I wish you luck on the rest of year and in all your courses, of course.

And yah....
I do hold doors open though! Although I suspect that's more so I can mentally grumble when someone doesn't say "thanks" to me for doing so.
Sounds like you're having a blast, though! I'll let you know if I happen to meet a new classmate called Ralph or Ivan.

It sounds like you're pretty happy.
I'm glad. C:
I'm in a similar situation with driving.
I'm actually in the process of getting a car right now, but since I've been out of practice driving, I need to practice before I get behind the wheel of my new ride.
Hang in there.
Keep smilin' and I promise I will, too. C:
xDDD But I'm in Austraaaalia, and for us school starts at the -beginning- of the year. It's not that everyone's smiley, just that it's nice when people do smile.
At least you do it~
That would be epic xD
Thanks~ Same to you with your schooling :3
Ooh, so you are definitely getting a car then? I'm sure you'll get back into practice quickly enough. Especially with that as incentive.
Thanks Tommy. I will, so you better keep that promise! :3
Maybe New York City also... and I guess some people would call California scary but they really don't think about the traffic. So it's more frustrating than scary.
